This DIY method for hanging a jersey on the wall is simple, but it works and you can do it in 2 minutes. While you can find a stud, hammer in a nail, and then hang the jersey on a wire hanger; we recommend following the steps below for the best results.
- Find the spot on the wall where you want to hang your jersey and mark it with a pencil.
- Place a Command Strip Hook on the wall so that the hook lines up with the pencil mark. Using a Command Strip Hook means that you don’t have to put any holes in the wall and you can easily move the jersey to a new location later. If you are putting the hook on a concrete wall, you can sub out the tape that comes with the hooks for Scotch-Mount Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape.
- Put your jersey on a hanger. Wire hangers work great for t-shirts, but don’t hold up over time to the weight of a jersey. Basic white plastic hangers will work just fine or you could go for a more heavy duty non-slip velvet hanger to keep the jersey from sliding around.
